Hi, recently had cause to open my case for the first time in forever and I noticed that the EPDM tubing is no longer flexible behaving and looking more like hard tubing. It's probably been a couple of years since I did anything to the computer and it is permanently in use (folding). Anyone else noticed this?

It mostly comes down to the quality, we use EPDM at work as pressure seals and cover them for 25 years, similarly for roofing its 25+ years.

no issues with my ez zmt
3 or 4 years old now I think it's been
in there
it's the thicker 16mm x 10mm(actually 9.5mm)
16mm x 11mm felt way flimsier even if
supposedly only 1.5mm of a difference
not sure if that would age differently or not though

Yea ive been using ek zmt for well over 2 years. Even reused the same price of tubing for new components and it's still as flexible as it was when I first out it in.

I can't remember where I bought it but it's very small OD maybe only 10mm. I have some spare so at some point may replace it although it's not causing any problems at the mo.
