Epic Citadel benchmark Unreal Engine 3

my stock nexus 7 32gb wifi got 55.6 fps at high quality... little lower than the op but could be down to anything so not going to go looking for reasons why it's slightly slower. It was mostly flicking between 59/60 anyways, even saw 61 at one point lol

got to say it does look pretty though :)

Think he's cheating ;-)

Two years late and spends most the time hitting vsync. Great!:D
(powerVR and nVidia optimised, the rest should get those dips smoothed out eventually)

Why does the One X(+) get low fps compared to the Nexus 7? I know the Tegra 3 GPU can suck power like there's no tomorrow, is the phone SoC underclocked or something?

Quite surprised how well my TouchPad did with this, forgot the exact score but was 30+ FPS @ 720p - not bad for an Adreno 220.

What res does the phone run it at? The nexus 10 is better than the 7 but the 7 scores better because it's Lower res so it's not as much work.

Would really need to remove Vsync to see whats better, but would guess the Nexus 10 pushing so many more pixels might be behind but not by much.

I'm talking about Tegra 3 devices. ;) The HOX+ is pushing less pixels so it should be a bit faster than a Nexus 7.
Meh, 16 vertical pixels is hardly going to make a difference.

I gather it is a memory bandwith, i/o or driver issue.
