Epic Citadel

I really can't believe how good it looks, the lighting is very very impressive.

Im slightly confused as to how this gets through apples T's & C's though as it's developed using UDk which is PC only software and apple is normally adamant that everything for the iDevices should be created on a mac though xCode (even if it just exports an xCode project). Any thoughts?

That is something else. Cannot believe what I am seeing. How many years did we have to wait on the pc for graphics like that!!!

Have you been outside yet

Wouldn't look out of place on the 360 when it was released.

Anyone have any idea that when I open this app, it loads, shows the epic games screen, shows the main screen of epic citadel and then crashes!?

and now they are better, don't get me wrong I'm not against apple at all, but at gaming PCs still take that cookie.

This is incredible - going from a Nexus One to this, it's like going from 1995 to 2005 in PC graphics terms!

Along with the Rage demo, I think the A4 and graphics co-processor have got a rosy future ahead of them!

Very impressive!

The problem I find with iPhone games is not the graphics, it's the poor controls! The touch screen I find is pretty useless for FPS games for instance.

Hmm, just need an iBoard4 and Mouse accessory! :p

I was thinking this too, everything is great apart from the touch screen controls. An example is R-Type which was just released recently, great game ruined by bad/difficult controls.

It looks simply stunning considering it's on a phone. Looks better than a lot of modern console games.

As mentioned though, will never take off unless they sort the controls out
