Epic Movie

So, if people would stop bitching so much, what makes it so bad?

And is there anything good in it? :(

(I am being forced by the missus to go watch this, I might as well know what I'm in for!)
 
the reason its so bad is becuase its not particularly funny, theres no intelligence in the comedy, i wouldnt be surprised if it was written by young kids.

All the jokes end with some sort of toliet humor, a dire pop culture refernce or rap music. the only good bit is eagles of death metal
 
Who keeps going and seeing these brain dead knuckle scraper comedy films?

Scary Movie - passable (compaired to the sequels it's like citizen Kane!)
Scary Movie 2 - Terrible
Scary Movie 3 - Terrible
Scary Movie 4 - Havent seen but bound to be dire

Then there's Date Movie and now this, they're all garbage but keep getting made so they must be making money!

Hopefully anyone who's planning on seeing this saves there money and goes see Hot Fuzz on Friday instead for a comedy which may have more subtlety than a sledgehammer to the face!
 
I personally found Scary movie 3 quite good, the 4th was indeed dire though.
Some of the spoofs have been ok though. Not another teen movie was quite watchable
 
well i saw Epic Movie last monday and have to say i found it pretty damn funny at points (start for instance) however as protoman said its braindead comedy which for me ;) is fine.
i'll admit its rather tedious with that ginger lass constantly being a *****
 
Not Another Teen Movie was atrocious.. the only good bit was "Ox" (Based on Oz from American Pie (looks like he is his stalker)) sings "Scooby dooby do bop" as hes getting some punch... :)
 
sadly your warning is to late saw it last sat and it was poor very poor laughed a couple of times but its not worth seeing in cinema or buying hire it out when its at blockbusters .

This was easily the worst movie ever. All the jokes were really obvious, except the random ones which had no relevance what so ever to anything. Just put in for the sake of a pop culture reference :/

just thought i'd warn you

i only went to see this movie cause i had agreed to goto the pics with friends, what a waste of 1.5 hours and £6

the only good part of the film was eagles of death metal

best bit of the night was watching my friend trying to get into a locked petrol station(where you have to pay at window) for 5 minutes, had everyone in the car in stitches

What he said, this is quite possibly the worst film I have ever seen surpassing the abismal "Dude wheres my car?".

Absolutely ******* ****.

Its the only film i've seen where I actually 100% wanted my money back. Even if the redhead was fit.

Scary Movie 4 is so terrible it's unreal. I actually turned it off after 20 minutes it was that bad. The jokes probably weren't funny enough to make a 10 year old laugh.

Judging from the advert for Epic Movie, I can guess it is exactly the same style of humour. Just exactly what audience are they aiming at, the Americans? I guess out sense of humour has evolved over here in Britain.

She's in a few episodes of Heroes if you're interested in that.

This movie looks dire. Slapstick comedy peaked in Airplane and Hotshots, and has been down hill ever since. Saying that, Scary Movie 3 raised a couple of smiles, simply because it had Charlie Sheen in it.
