Looking for some advice here.
Over xmas my account suddenly will not look at or purchase 18 rated games. I have loads of them on my account and previously had no issue.
I have raised 2 tickets with Epic, each one leads to them asking the same questions, me supplying full details and a copy of my driving license proving all my information and then they shut down the issue with a we cannot change your date of birth. I do not want a change of date of birtth it says I am 52 on the system.
Any ideas how I can escalate this higher or any solutions I may not have tried. Also tried posting to twitter

Have you checked under the parental control if you can disable that yourself ?
I don't remember ever putting in my dob so not sure where they pull this information from. I have checked my profile and dont see anything there.
Under parental control there is an option to set the games rating to unrated. Not sure if that would help.

Seems lots of people are having the same issue with no fix other than epic support doing something about it. Having done a quick search, the only thing that pops up is what I'd said about the parental controls. There was a workaround where you logout of epic games on the browser or use incognito mode and view the store page and just before checking out you pop in your existing creds. But some threads have said that that workaround has now been closed as well.

I had a Quick Look at my account and can’t see anywhere you put a date of birth in. How do they know you’re 52?
Yeah same here. In OP's case he had sent a document for proof but otherwise not sure how they are confirming date of birth for accounts as I dont see any field that I have filled in my account. Have they added a steam like option to enter DOB before watching an 18 rated game. I know it occasionally pops up on steam for me.

Yeah, it does warn about some games being mature and entering a DOB to continue; I just put any old thing in as it seems to be stored as a simple web cookie.
