Epson R200 Problem

Im having a bit of a problem with my R200. I tried to print out an A4 sized photo but it's printing out really dark. The photo was taken in broard daylight so i can't understand whats going on. The nozzels are all ok after a quick check, All the inks are new, the settings look ok just before you click ok to print (A4, best photo, premium glossy photo paper) but the photo is still coming out dark. The weird thing is, it's happening on 2 of my R200 printers so i know it isnt a printer problem. Does anybody have an idea what could be wrong? Would the brand of ink cause an issue?

Are you printing from your camera directly or from your PC?

Im printing from the pc using windows Xp. I tried it using normal paper and it did the same. I tried printing a web page and it prints fine, just photo's come out dark

My R200 went out of the window because it stopped working the night before a uni deadline.
