Err is my Intel320 series supposed to beep?

Hi chaps,

Received my new Intel 320 series 120GB, whacked it in, all working fine, speeds in line with reviews.

One thing though, it beeps maybe half a second before the main POST beep, is it supposed to do this?
 
Ah panic over. Did a bit of investigation by unplugging all my drives and the beeping continued.

Then I remembered when I was enabling ACHI in the BIOS I had noticed all the fan fail alarms were disabled so I'd enabled them. Turns out the Sharkoon fans take a couple of seconds to start turning, which sets the alarm off :o
