Error code 60 with msi x299 gaming m7 ack

msi have contacted me 2 and they are trying to duplicate the situation but they say they can't so far wich is weird but they are not giving up they said and asked me for pictures of the bios settings so at least they are trying. Quote from msi "In fact,we cannot duplicate this issue,we would appreciate if you can double describe all of the current BIOS settings and the test step. Then we will double test it for you. Thanks!"

Ive also sent them my settings with my 850 pros in raid.
Btw dont want to go off-topic but noticed my USB 3.0 and 3.1 speeds are 42 mb/s at best- shocking!
Any ideas?

Hey just been stabilizing my OC, had to go back up to 1.23v on CPU core and using 1.15v SA voltage (XMP was 0.9). Upping system agent is giving the IMC a bit more stability.
Been playing rainbow six on and off all day- prob done 30 rounds- not one crash :)
Realbench score is 162k
Im really happy with the 7800x/x299 set up. Motherboard is an absolute joy and getting much less frame drops in r6. Used to dip to 45-50 at 1440p, im pretty much staying at 85 fps throughout with a 1070. Core load is evenly distributed so game is well optimized

thats really good :D i also had to up my vcore to 1.25v for a 46ghz oc. Its weird how sometimes it can be stable in one becnhmark and then hangs on the other but i found out that the witcher 3 is really good for knowing if you have a stable oc :p. But i also love the x299 platform and i dont understand the negative reviews its fast and one hell of a overclocker cause i keep reading on forums that almost everyone gets at least a 4.5 4.6 oc wich is really good for a multi core cpu.

Did you hear anything from msi btw? i think we presented them with a real problem cause they reacted a bit anoyed when i asked them if they found a solution yet, i know i know patience is not one of my virtues :P. quote from msi "We have received your information. Please wait for us.Thanks!"

MSI have just replied:

Sorry for the late reply!

1.First we have duplicated and checked this issue,it should be appeared on all of the X299 MB no matter which brand you have selected. Thus we have sent it to INTEL.And please wait for the solution.
2.If you want to get it now,we can also send you a test BIOS which can fix this issue, but meanwhile, the S3 function will not work. Thanks!

I have to admit, what fabulous support!
I cannot think, that Asus , even for a min would have investigated the issue.
Thinking of getting the test bios....

yeah they had trouble with their Raid controller firmware's before. I had to flash a special firmware to get trim working in raid 0 on the sandy bridge chipset but they fixed that later on so im confident they will fix it now 2 :) If you get that test bios let me know please i would wanna try that.

I'll ask for it as well when I get home.
Im Just over the moon msi have spent the time and money revolving this.
Hence I always buy their flagship motherboards and GPUs. I have their z170 gaming x power titanium board as.well which is stellar and is now my HTPC.

Well so far so good. It boots now with Windows 10 WHQL support enabled and if you enable fullscreen logo boot you get a cool msi logo when windows starts hehe. I disabled c state in the bios too. I also ran some benchmarks and i have some lower scores in cinebench but not much, could be a margin of error. In 3D mark time spy i have the same scores and also gaming feels the same. I do have higher temp readings with this bios like 4-5 degrees but other then that it feels good. If you are gonna try this bios let me know if you also have higher temp readings please.

Ive also upgraded and the issue is resolved. What a result!
Its not immediately apparent that my idle temps have increased but will monitor and let you know!
