Hello guys

I am running WXP, Packard Bell Desktop.

I need to reinstall Windows and do not have the CD.

I clicked on Packarad Bell Support > Packard Bell Infocentre (User's Guide).

When I clicked on Packard Bell Infocentre (User's Guide) I get 'Error installing iKernel.exe:(0x10000)' .

Can someone please advise me how to rectify this problem.

can;t really offer any help with the failed install of that application. it could be many things...

But, if you're trying to reinstall XP without any media (CD) then I can help.

If you have a folder in your C drive called 'i386' then you're in luck.

follow this guide:

at the end you'll need to enter the product key o the sticker on the side of your PC.
