ERROR LOADING OPERATING SYSTEM
any body had this horrific message whilst trying to install windows? it started doing it to me when attempting to load windows once installed, how ever now on my other 2 hard drives i get it before i have even installed windows, in the end bought another hard drive, jus curious to if any body has resolved this, jus incase it happens again

I uninstalled windows desktop search on winxp after I had installed all my progs (it was one of the first things I had installed, after outlook bugged me to install it), anyway it said it could cause problems if I uninstall it but I didn't pay any notice to it.

Apon rebooting I got a message saying something like "Error loading C:\Windows" Could not load something or other", but windows still booted fine. I formatted in the end as I couldn't be bothered to try and fix it (I did a chkdsk and fixboot etc in recovery console).
