Error on boot up?

Hi, recently when starting up or waking pc from sleep I get the message below, it says that settings were reset to default values so im guessing there must be something that the system doesnt like? I've been pressing F2 to continue. It doesnt happen all the time just at random times, any ideas what might cause this to happen?

Do you usually have an overclock running or just on stock speeds like it shows there?

Also what PSU do you have?

I always have it running at stock speed, my PSU is a EVGA SUPERNOVA 850 G2..

Try changing your motherboard battery.

I havent got any batteries at home but I'll be going into town shortly to pick some up, will update once fitted..

New battery now fitted so its just a waiting game now to see if it happens (or not) again, thanks for the advice

@Scania I've started up, woke from sleep & rebooted lots of times now & its been fine, I think that was the problem so thank you for that suggestion..

Happy to be if assistance - I’ve had exactly the same issue before so was pretty confident this was the same problem.
