Error when installing Vista

I keep getting this when installing vista, really annoying. It has been weeks now and i still have not sorted it, has anyone had this problem? If so, how did you defeat it?

Get vLite, copy the Vista disk to your PC an create a new bootable installation disk: http://www.vlite.net/

I am copying all the vista files into a folder on the desktop and trying that as we speak

If I got that I'd suspect the DVD or RAM so confirm that you read the contents of the DVD OK and run up memtest86 and make sure the RAMs OK.

Definitely sounds like a faulty DVD then.

Try get a friend to do the vLite trick I mentioned above (vLite will basically copy the DVDs contents to your PC, then onto a bootable DVD).

If you can't do that then phone Microsoft.

I have a programme and am trying to figure out how i mount the ISO image...I am a complete noob and i have no idea where the iso image is. what do i do?

The DVD won't be an 'iso' image.

You'll need to create an ISO image from the DVD.

To do this download IMGBURN ... it has an option to create an image file (ISO) from disc.
