Errors from windows

Hi all just wondered if anyone could help me out cause I've finally got my new pc finished and everything runs amazing except the internet. It works fine if I only open one window at a time, but if I open more than one window, or if I manual over-ride too many pop-ups then all my IE windows crash. I'm running XP Pro SP2 and have a 6.5Mb connection with BT through a ethernet cable/router. Also, my system specs are Core 2 E6600, 2Gb G.Skill RAM and 160Gb HD so the pc it self should handle more than a few internt windows since my old pc is 3 years old and can handle a lot more. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Do you get any errors when IE crashes?

tested with other browsers?

When it crashes it comes up with a windows error message, and Ive tried it with my BT/Yahoo browser and it seems a bit better, but it still happens.

The BT/Yahoo browser's more or less IE, so that's hardly a shock - try Firefox/Opera.
