Errors installing ATi Drivers for new card :(

Got the correct version of .net Framework? Windows installer updated/latest version? Weren't using any download managers when it was downloaded? Tried an older driver (like 6.7 if using 6.8)?
 
anyone got an known working alternative download source for ATi drivers please. i would google them but if theres a corrupt batch floating around i wont know if it works unless one of you guys has used it. wanting 6.8
 
i got this ever since i installed my x1900xt back in march u could install omega drivers (but tray tools could'nt hold my bios of my card) or somtimes even though u get this error contiune with the install and sometimes stick there. i only got rid of this error when i had to reinstall windows last week and the 6.8 installed fine , and yes i did all the uninstalling rebooting and drivercleaning and i still got the error
 
I had a nightmare installing ATI drivers on my machine and also a friends machine (6.8s) , i was getting all kinds of errors and the CCC crashing every time i opened it

In the end i binned the CCC and installed this way:


.net
.wdm
.display drivers only
.ati tray

All seems to be working fine now, you probably dont need telling but use driver cleaner again to clear out all the ATI gubbins then start again
