eSATA controller

Looking for an eSATA controller with at least one connection on the back plate, ideally a couple. Internal connectors and RAID would also be nice but not essential. Recommendations?

Highpoint seem to have quite a few offerings here, all PCIe too which is a bonus but as I can't find anywhere in the UK that sells them I presume they've pulled out of this market?

Highpoint RR1742 looks about what you're after but it's plain old PCI so performance with more than one drive isn't going to be spectacular. RR1522 also but that's 2*eSATA only.

you can use something like this to convert your motherboard's SATA ports into an eSATA ports.

SATA controllers with eSATA ports are pretty rare unless you get those by Silicon Image which you see pretty often on the bay.
