Both my current laptop and incoming new laptop have eSATA ports yet I'm still using USB2 for my external HD. What's I'd really like to do is upgrade to eSATA as I can utilise it on both of my laptops. Few questions first:
1. Can you get bus-powered eSATA drives (like a standard USB external)?
If so...
2. Do any companies do a 7,200RPM bus-powered eSATA external HD?
3. Is it possible to do it 100% myself with a caddie + HD?
If anyone's got some suggestions, that'd be grand. If there's something out there along the right lines, do say
