eSATAII

has anyone heard of this? saw on my mobo about it supports eSATAII hard drives but i never heard of it.would someone like to enlighten me to what it is and whats the difference between that an a normal SATA drive?

nope, got an ASRock mobo today as replacement for my borked epox and was reading about the eSATAII.the thing is i dont think i have seen an eSATAII hard drive before and was wondering if there was a difference between an eSATAII and a SATA drive. any ideas?

Does it not just allow you to use sata2 disks externally

so does that mean i can buy a SATAII disk with an Akasa External Enclosure and that would be able to use eSATAII capabilites on d ASROCK motherboard?
