** ESET - Simply The Best! **

Lol at not having a firewall or anti virus. Bizarre!

People say they've not had issues, how would you know? Could have a keylogger, could be a botnet zombie, could be mining for somebody else and you'd have no idea without some form of AV/FW.

Only reasonable excuse for not having an AV/FW is if the PC isn't connected to a network and doesn't have removable media inserted!

Oh and if you think Linux based OS's and OS X can't get viruses then you need to go back to Google :p Sure, OSX is probably less targeted than Windows, but that doesn't make it invulnerable. Otherwise why are AV/FW companies developing for Linux and Apple devices?

I don't work for Barclays. Any customer can get it.

Indeed.
I think you might have missed the joke, nevermind :p

However, Barclays only has about 10% market share in the UK currently so that leaves 90% of potential customers to sell to, plus those who don't rate Kaspersky ;)

Used ESET a few years back and found it to be really light weight. Cost wise it was okay too. Im one of those bad people that hasnt used AV for a few years now ^.^

Wasn't really a joke when you were referring to employees though was it ;)

Never mind old bean!

Kaspersky and mbam does the job for me last time I tried eset it was a pain in the backside and was more trouble then it was worth things might have changed but my setup is fine I see no reason to take a chance.

IMO modern antiviruses are pretty similar now a days, each with there own pros and cons. While I can understand why a business would pay for antivirus protection, surely a free antivirus, which is capable of scoring fairly well in AV tests, is adequate for tech-savvy home users (such as the people who browse Overclockers)?
