Essays for Uni

Hi all, quick question:

When the main body of the essay is finished (ie the end of the conclusion), do you have the reference list starting a fresh page or continuing from the same page of the end of the text (albeit a couple of lines down)

Yes, lol its not on there, I was absent from one of the tutorial sessions, I;ll go with a fresh page I think then (makes it 11 pages long now

)

Check your university website, should be loads of resources on there about essay writing, referencing etc.

That's what I did for every essay at Uni!

Unless we were told specifically not to for an assignment.

I think that was purely some lectuters wising up to our little tricks.

Wow, that's one of the shortest things I've handed in, below is one of my pieces of work last year...

...and that was a small piece.

Most of my papers are ACM or IEEE format, and the references just carry on from the main text body and are only single lined spaces.

For larger reports I would suggest a fresh page though.
