Essential Android Games

Gameloft stuff isn't optimised for Desire etc only Droid I believe, hence the fact their stuff runs like laggy crap on most phones.

Any recommendations for tracking down SNES roms? or is that one of the taboo subjects around here?

Considering the app even gives you a MASSIVE HINT when you press menu in the rom loading screen, I think you should try looking on the internet harder :)

I play wixel (boggle clone) all day.

he obviously means tracking them down as in track them down for the cartridges he already has though

i would massively recommend 'lets golf' from gamesloft hd

had it on my satio and it was incredible for a phone game

Woo, now that I am SenseUI free I've paired my Wiimote(s) with the Desire and am happily playing games \m/

The "WiimoteController" app supports classic controller connections and nunchuk too.

You're kidding me!

Does this work with the emulators too?

I'd happily drop Sense for Classic controller emulator play.

I've uploaded a video for xda forums on my Youtube account showing it working but short answer is yes :)

I've not seen one but I think it's not possible yet due to Sony not releasing the API for it or something.

Technically anything that can connect to the Wiimote should be usable.

Try it and see :p I don't know what the Galaxy S framework compatibility is like, it might not work like on SenseUI or it might...

You can get the Wii Controller app free on the Market. If it pairs in the app it will work.

Just got my X10 mini pro yesterday, and I like the Gensoid app a lot, put OutRun on there and lost an hour of my life.

Droidjump as well was free.

Do any of those emulators allow you to use tilt controls? I can imagine racing games being pretty good using tilt to steer.
