Essential iPhone Apps

Unless you are using vmware view, you just need to use the RDP option.

Have you followed the FAQ?

I did off the Wyse site but that's just for the phone.

I don't really know how to setup my PC. I have downloaded both files from the download you linked and am not sure what I should be running. Is there a quite to setting it up on the PC?

Calm down, I'm new to this, I'll figure it out somehow. Thanks

And for the record yes I followed the FAQ on the Wyse site, I did everything it asked but it hasn't any guide for the actual Windows Companion.

The companion is just used for some of the added features. There is no configuration.

Its not that difficult? Can you connect to the machine by RDP from another PC in the network without issue?

I haven't tried.

I appreciate it's not difficult, but it doesn't work, all I'm after is help ;)

Does it matter having Username, Password, VMware Domain, Vware Desktop not filled in on the iPhone app?

You are not using VMware, so why would you use VMware configuration?

You need to configure it via RDP.

Wahey! I have it working! I made a newbish mistake :D

Only thing now is when I'm remote controlling, it's asking me to log on to windows with a username and password. I don't have any of these details setup, do I need to create a specific user for remote controlling on my PC?

Sorted it, had to create a password for my username, can live with that I guess. So far so good.

Nah, I'm always a pain on here and can come across newbish sometimes, you got to be patient with me :D

Yeah I'll do a mini review when I've used it more

Like the mouse driver a lot but wondered whether vmware view allows connections to osx clients? Or is it simply windows only.

is there anyway to add confirmation for the voicemail button? I keep accidentally hitting it and it costs me 10p everytime :S

Already come across some annoyances with Wyse PocketCloud, logging on to your home PC will log the user out, interupting any internet based stuff you may have going on at the time.

Plus you need a password on your user account which is also annoying as I don't want to input a password everytime I log into my user account on XP.

Logmein is good as you can just log straight onto your pc without interupting anything.
