Hi all
Currently have a empty socket in my wall and plan to use this as an Ethernet socket. My question is are there wall sockets whereby I can just plug in the socket from behind and front? Or do all wall sockets need to cut and with each wire split into the wall sockets? Hope this makes sense

Cable from wall to where?

Much easier to get the correct solid core cable and route that through 6mm gaps than have to deal with a whole RJ45 jack.

Punching down into a module is childsplay.

I will post you a couple of modules (and spares), tester and tool if you like. As long as I get them back :)

You can get keystone sockets and use couplers, but it's unlikely that you have the depth behind the faceplate for that. Also that would imply that you're pulling a patch cable through a wall which isn't a great idea.

If you don't want to punch anything down then get some tool-less modules, Excel's butterfly ones are really good.
