Euclideon Makes World’s Most Realistic Graphics

There's no evidence of any dynamic lighting there or prop movements or real time shadows or anything else. Everything is static and the camera simply moves about them. Nothing is moving in those scenes. That doesn't seem impressive to me at all?

Forget gaming for a sec, this could be like the next step for Google maps type thing, but you can actually walk around the places you wanna look at, walk into buildings or through wooded areas, check out nature spots where you might want to visit with realistic sounds from the area.

Visiting wonders of the world, Eiffel tower, pyramids, mountain tops.. The possibility's stretch beyond just gaming. This technology could be awesome. Maybe Oculus rift type support, for people who have really bad mobility issues the ability to use something like this would be awesome, or if you're planning a holiday and want to take a hands on look at the area..

I could see some kind of virtual-tourism application coming from this, could be big in Japan where people REALLY romanticize Paris but have a nervous breakdown upon actually visiting. Also this type of thing usually takes root there first.

This is the kind of thing I was thinking about to - and this would work perfectly imo

As above, the forest scenes especially look obviously fake (although pretty decent even still).

Interesting none the less

Looks very nice, but I'll try and reign in my expectations till I see this engine running in real time on a modern pc with acceptable frame rates. imo, Euclideon could go a long way towards establishing a name for themselves by releasing a benchmark/ tech demo of these levels to pc gamers. I hope they deliver as promised and start providing updates on a slightly more regular basis than every two years from now on :)
