Euro PS3 release dates

Some intersting PS3 release dates, mostly GT5 prologue, Warhawk and R+C.
These was released by Sony to Spanish retailers, but like all dates may and will change. Think Lair is an August late July release for the States.

Singstar Next Gen: 8 - 22
Warhawk: 8 -29
Heavenly Sword: 9 - 12
Lair: 9 -26
Folklore: 10 -10
Eye of Judgment: 10 - 24
Ratchet & Clank: 11 - 7
Time Crisis 4 & GunCon 3: 11 -18
Gran Turismo 5 Prologue: 11 - 21
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune: 11 - 28

I had the prologue for GT4 was ok, useful that you could transfer you licence over to GT4
These are Just SCE published releases as far as i know apart from time crisis4(unless they publish it)

The GT4 prologue had a load of licience type test on it a few cars and tracks to play its kinda like an extended demo. Most revovled around passing tests, like the start of the proper game, but any test you passed you didnt have to do in the original game if i remember correctly.

Heavenly Sword for me. Nothing else there really makes me want to buy it, possibly R&C too.

I'm not sure, it's the one being pushed as one of their major games. Seems quite epic like God of War, has a female lead who is trying to replace Lara Croft as the new heroine of games.

I wasn't too impressed til I saw more footage outside of the fighting, which actually looked really good. I ordered it last night for £20.50, so I can't go wrong really.

Yep, one of the developers played the level in a preview of the game mentioning it was the same level which was seen on Ep 18 of Heros. Lucky for me I also got this game on order for £20.50

Bit of trivia for you about Heavenly Sword, one whole core of the Cell processor is used on the main characters hair alone

That game looked amazing (I saw episode 18 last night). It has those action sequences that you have to press a key on as it appears on screen. Like Tomb raider legend, GOW, etc.

Yep me 2, they all look great so far. Top of my list is R&C, Lair, Heavenly Sword & Uncharted.

Will probably have to buy Singstar for the missus just to keep her entertained.

I also have high hopes for Warhawk especially if it only costs £20ish off the store.

Have to say those dates don't seem right, as Lair is out in the states on the 14th August, and Singstar is out here (UK) at the end of July :-/

Oh and where the hell is Everybody's Golf, I need a release date for this NOW

I wouldn’t have known about the game if I never of happen to of switched on the TV after a night out and watched Heroes. At first I thought it was Pandemonium then noticed how good the game looked, the fighting scenes and when the camera zoomed out to reveal a PS3 being played.

Another bit of trivia for you, Heavenly Sword was originally a 360 game but Microsoft gave it to Sony instead with no explanation why.

Out of the list warhawk, heavenly sword, lair, uncharted and ratchet and clank are the ones that really interest me. I think Folklore has amazing art but I don't think it will have enough depth.

I hope people don't think that these are the only big games coming out this year for PS3. At E3 Sony has some exclusive new titles to show, they have to explain what the hell Afrika is, wipeout will probably be announced (which is rumored or confirmed to be using the Motorstorm engine) and there are new titles to be shown.

Also, the fact that Killzone 2 is showing straight after the MS press conference shows that they have a lot of confidence in it. Just have to wait and see. Also rumored is a new game by the team who made ICO and SOTC. I wouldn't be surpised if some of these hit this year, even if they arrive in the US (hopefully MGS4) we can still import them. I would also expect more well known developers to be showing off new PSN games
