Since dental work in this country is a complete con i'm debating whether to get some work done in Europe. There's lots of adverts about cheaper treatment especially from eastern europe, which would cost me £500 compared to £1600 for an implant to replace a tooth i lost last year.

Has anyone used them before? my current dentist said they're not so good because they rush treatment that should be done over a period of 6 months, however since he needs to pay for the shiny new BMW 8 series in his driveway i think he may have ulterior motives :o

Any good or bad stories please?

Your dentist must be really rich if he can afford a time machine to buy a brand new 8 series. ;)

I've only had experience of German dentists, and they seem as expensive as over here.

troublemaker :p...maybe it's an old style 8 series, didn't realise there was a new one...however point still stands that he's rich enough already ;)

My old dentist quoted me £2000, he said it was the same price as an Arsenal season ticket but lasts for a lifetime instead of 9 months, i replied that i can't afford an Arsenal season ticket either so its irrelevant.
