Eurovision Thread

UK entry was really crap. Norway's was ok, can see why it won though. In my opinion Estonia's was the best by far, only song I would actually listen to.

At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, I quote:

"In my opinion Estonia's was the best by far, only song I would actually listen to."

I feel sad and dirty already for looking into this thread.

I for whatever sane reason, actually loved Moldova's entry... it was fun, feet tapping worthy, good evening enjoyment. It only did somewhere in the mid tables. Shame.

What I don't understand in Turkey! That was perhaps one of the worst performance, only saved by some belly jiggle. Meh.

Saw the last 20 minutes of that, the voting is as bad as ever, a singing Muppet won, I shudder to think how bad the rest were, nothing changes. :D

I think there should be a Technical Award included in this contest for the stage - its the best stage I have ever seen ANYWHERE. Even the dang floor had screens! The way they used those screens to give a different mood to each song was fantastic. Well done Russia.
This was the only thing I noticed on the playback of the songs during the results (only bit I saw).

The interface design for the voting was very modern too, and the stage looked great.

He got better (read bitchier) as the evening went on.

Just like Wogan used to. The wonders of drink.

As I said last night, Norton was surprisingly good. He talked a bit too much at the start, but he came into his own when the slagging could commence.

It's always the Scandinavian block winning anyway because everybody likes them and gives lots of points their way. Plus they give each other 12.

It's been years since the best act won - I know that sounds unfair on the winning countries but there's too much political voting, and that's why I don't take any notice of the damn thing anymore.
