eurythmics sweet dreams car advert

doesnt that make sense? i mean, you can see S Club 7 or whatever, selling products with their music, and bands in the same vein...but it just seems stupid that musicians that pride themselves on obscurity/defiance/being outside the mainstream (ugh, hate that word, but it's applicable) would endorse a car, of all things.

like i said, the whole celebrity endorsement thing irritates me anyway, but this i just find ridiculous
 
I see where you are coming from, but being under the control of universal records I wonder how much choice he had in the matter.
