Speaking of leasing, if anyone were looking for a half decent deal on a new vehicle, the Kia EV4 81kWh Air is on a decent lease offer at £329-360 per month on a 1+35 PCH.

I'm not disputing the fact that it is, but it makes no logical sense for it to be cheaper to finance a depreciating asset than it is to buy it cash.

That video kind of summed up where I am with cars now and it is the same situation as phones. In times gone by you could buy a car that was 5 years newer or a phone that was 2 years newer and there would be a fundamental shift in the spec, features performance, quality or design. Now it is just an incremental evolution. Why replace a functional thing for basically the same thing for more cash?
60% salary sacrifice helps massively. No other costs, even punctures are covered

Car didn’t charge again today when electric went negative at 7am so emailed Ohme for the CP fix to keep car awake. MEB don’t like being plugged in and asked to charge 8hours later so hopefully this solves it. Agile negative 7am till 4pm today and best is -9p/kWh. Cheap motoring

Ask the idiots people the buy new iPhones every year. Cars are heading that way, even more so now they will have less need for maintenance over very large mileages, and they come with a great deal of features that just didn't exist in the recent past.
apple stop providing updates for older phones and apps only work for newer OS's - just waiting for analogous obsolescene in cars ;
availbility of parts from the diverse chinese manufacturers can provide that, especially with some rationsalisation amongst them
the repair cost model could mimic the iphone ... time to die.

Yes, a £40k car is the same as a £750 phone.

Jesus wept, this forum needs a facepalm emoji.

Hello, is anyone here, who lives in Sheffield and has a Tesla Model Y, who can give me some info as I'm looking to buy one and I'm undecided.
