No idea, never driven a cupra. never looked at the specs of a cupra
lane aware,
traffic aware
Speed limit aware
Changes lanes when asked.
Takes exits when in Navigate on autopilot (needs confirmation via stalk and torque gesture)
Don't have to do anything besides indicate and apply slight torque input to steering wheel so it knows I'n not asleep.

If driving manually it still has
Traffic aware (automatic braking)
Lane keep if you don't indicate and cross lane lines
drowsiness monitoring and attention on the road ahead. (internal driver facing camera)

in my test drive in the ipace I was having a play with the lane keeping (when safe to do so) the car does not claim to be self driving but it was very impressive how if I pulled over to the wrong side of the road it immediately took over and put it into the correct lane. these features I will never use.... but it's nice they are there just incase I get distracted or for my elderly parents if they get tired on the 200 mile trip to my house.

Driven both. No real difference except marketing
 
They are all limited by the same regs in the EU which is probably why most feel the same. For example, they are only allowed so much cornering g-force so on some older dual carriageways which have some ‘sharp’ bends they can hit that limit. I’d imagine most of them are using the same MobileEye system as well.

The I-Pace has two levels of lane following. If you don’t have adaptive cruise enabled it is simple Lane Keep assist, get to close to the edges and it nudges you back gently. This is always on by default and I leave it on as it is not that intrusive.

If you turn on adaptive cruise control it also enables a mode called driving assist that is quite effective on motorways. Though it can get confused if the car in front goes off at a slip road.

I admit to occasionally using the adaptive cruise in stop start traffic and putting to the lowest distance in such traffic works well.

Though even for long range drives on motorways I rarely use any form if cruise or autopilot. My experience of most auto pilots are that they will make a mistake at some point.

oh sure for me autopilot is something I am interested in and will play with to pass the time on a long dull drive when the motorway is quiet.

it is not something I would use to drive for me.
stop start adaptive cruise would be ok however in the inevitable queues on the M6... (tho the very nature of an automatic will make that a lot less annoying than my current manual.
 
Tesla 'Autopilot' and 'full self driving' (in the UK) are two of the most inappropriately named products ever, which make people think they do a lot more than they do. My Model 3 wasn't even great at cruise control because it wouldn't change speed when the limit changed. I find my Taycan adaptive cruise control much better, and it doesn't go blind with a slight rain shower like the Tesla did, because it has a radar. I've just signed up for a 3 month trial of Innodrive on the Taycan which uses GPS and map data to help have the optimal speed for corners on individual roads.

The name 'Autopilot' is almost as bad as 'Taycan Turbo'. :D

Got home with 100 miles of range..
Those that still scoff at EV's still don't work in todays world just don't seem to have a clue what they are talking about..
Also spent 99% of the time not actually driving and letting autopilot do it all, which it also did perfectly well in bank holiday traffic and active variable speed limits.
Had a few double takes from other drivers while I sat there drinking coffee looking at them through the side window and not driving the car while smurking:D

Imagine coming up with a boast where you can't list distance travelled in a unit of measure that is actually quantifiable and measurable lol.
 
oh god... i feel sick!. I have just put a deposit down on an ipace. (very) late 2020 HSE black edition. its the facelifet so has all the tweaks done to it.

so i guess the answer to the topic ... when am i going full electric..... as soon as i pick it up!
I have never spent even close to that amount of money on a car... but.... on the bright side, its under 2.5 years old and the new equivalent is north of 70K... so if you look at it one way it is half price and indistinguishable from a new car....

I don't think that's a bad buy at that price. Nice spec.

Despite the problems I've had with mine I will miss it I think when it goes back in October.

Assume this still has some main dealer warranty left?

Seems like a good price, had no idea they depreciated so fast.

to be honest I wanted to look at some more..... the lass at marshalls Cambridge was fantastic taking me , my wife and the lad on the test drive. no hard sell. I would have liked to have bought from her (not to mention 2 year warranty) but the only car they had at the moment that was the spec I wanted at a price k could afford had the 22inch wheels (and air suspension). but the cost of the tyres put me off (£280 each) as well as the effect on range....but this one I put deposit on one ticked every box for me so I decided to go with this one. anyway I have derailed enough so should probably shut up now ;)
