but thats double taxAnd you get double taxed on fuel, you pay fuel duty and then VAT on the amount of fuel and fuel duty.
They could just ramp up tax on electricity to the sort of rates we see on fuel duty but I suspect that would be drastically less popular![]()

Well fuel duty is only frozen until September next year so EV may still then be the cheaper of the expensive choices.so wheres the EV incentive?

Still cheaper than ICE, but it makes an EV less attractive and I’m sure it won’t help depreciation and uptake.
