You sure you want untethered? All our free company chargers are untethered and compared to the absolute ease of the tethered hypervolt, it's a complete faff, especially in the rain getting the cable out and plugging in both ends..After moving house and dealing with 3 Pins charging for a few weeks we are finally getting a Untethered Andersen Quartz installed this Friday.
Having used the Hypervolt for 4 years (left with old house) I had forgotten how easy it had made things. Using just 3 pin in the Go Window meant losing around 10% each day (amount added back in 5 hours less commute consumed) thus requiring additional charges outside of Go window. Cost of charging itself doesn't really bother me (short term at least), its more the practicality, or lack thereof, of only being able to charge at ~2kW (limiting car/charger to 8a for sustained load).
Looking forward to being able to add ~30kW in the go window overnight.

Yes I specifically wanted an untethered one. Plugging in / Switching cables doesn't bother me and I wanted the flexibility to switch cable lengths without having a >5m cable always in view (2 specific charging locations with an optional 3rd).
I struggle with things being out / on show / out of place and would spend longer than I want to admit re-wrapping the Hypervolt each day to get the cable run just right. (Moving was fun, had to take pictures of everything so my desk drawer units are exactly the same post move to avoid a complete brain meltdown).
Completely understand wanting a tethered unit normally though.

Thought I’d try an experiment this week. I had three night shifts to do, so couldn’t charge my car in the cheap overnight rate at home. They do have chargers at work, but they charge 25p/kwh (which is actually cheaper than my off peak tariff now)
My EQC isn’t very efficient, and in the reasonably cold weather I was using about a third of the battery to do the 60 mile round trip, giving 180 miles from the 80kwh pack. It’s rubbish, but does me ok.
So, can I do all three nights shifts starting at 100% charge?
Turns out, yes!
I do live at the bottom of a very big hill which takes some of the anxiety out of it…
So, with the weather improving I thought I’d try this test again and attempted all three night shift commutes of 60 miles on one full charge.
Got home this morning on 15% with 35 miles of range, making a projected total of 215 from the full battery.
That immersion heater takes a rather chunk in the winter!

I would never go back to untethered.
I have an andersen Quartz untethered, and it's perfect for my use case (I have a pavement gully and use a 25m cable to get to the car). No tethered charger has a cable long enough, so it works well for the purpose.Yes I specifically wanted an untethered one. It's all about getting the right thing for your situation, same with EV tariffs, not every tariff suits every situation.

Well first home charge of my polestar went ok last night eventually, took me an age to get it to charge from the grid and not drain my house battery first, hopefully won’t be as much of a **** around next time 
Similarly, I went untethered as I need to use a 30m cable to get to the car - it's a bit unorthodox but it could provide a great level of flexibility for a lot of people. I just leave it plugged in, don't think it matters really.

I mean, it's not gonna help things is it? The weight of EVs is an inescapable fact, so is material wear and fatigue. There will very likely be increased wear on the manhole cover due to this, but is it enough to explain it constantly breaking? I very much doubt it.

Interesting, I literally did not post my iX3 vs Juniper Model Y back to back impressions because I was underwhelmed with the iX3 and just put it down to not being able to give it a fair shot since I spend a fair bit of time driving the i5 and iX (as fleet cars) which feel so much better.. The main aspects of disappointment where the unengaging drive and the interior is just far more drab and material quality very average to a point I prefer the interior of the light/airy Model Y (maybe I am more used to it owning a previous gen)..
Still, lets not blow it out of context, the iX3 is range topping range, even if a little inefficient (and therefore more expensive to run), the charging looks stellar and even if notably worse than an i5/iX those are a level above anyway..
Each to their own, Ioved my well spec'd F25 X3, the interior quality was excellent, leather on most of the door cars, and it felt really solid, I can't back to back them, but I never got that same premium/solid feeling in the new iX3.
edit - CarWow incorrectly state the Tesla as 507BHP, that's for the performance model, not the AWD (397BHP) which makes that acceleration test interesting, but not surprising, the i5 M60 also doesn't kick you in the back initially like my AWD Model Y but certainly is far quicker once going..
