Evaluate this website if you wish !

It's awful.

I thought it couldn't get much worse until I clicked on the shop and contact us sections. I was wrong.

How much was wasted on this monstrosity?

Anyone else read the address as Martin Dicks On Ceramics?

Yep.

As said terrible. Why the hell did I get a loading screen, can only assume you're using flash? What the hell for?
The layout is old fashioned and terrible.

Also for sites like this there's three main things I want to know.
What you can do, lots of examples with prices and rough estimates, either price per hour or whatever.
I'm fed up of emailing such sites. Explaining what I want, submitting drawings to get a price back which is insane. Especially when most of them are price lists for raw materials plus an hourly rate. Just ***** list that on the site and save us both some time. 1001 metal and ceramic sites, etc like that one and all are terrible and basically useless other than providing an email.

For a start I would make the buttons change when hovered over and get the same positioning on every page, nothing worse than the whole site changing position when changing pages.

If it was 1999 it might be ok.

Nah. Even in 1999 this would be classed as garbage.

A site this bad actually hurts your company. It would be better not having one. If I see a company with an online presence this bad, I go elsewhere.

Or he should have just used something like wix.com and made it himself in an hour or two

Which part of it is under construction?!

e: I suggest you don't show him this thread. Break it to him gently :p
