just started the game looking for a bit of help perhaps a good friendly halpfull crps or something to get me started or a mentor

If it's you first ever go I'd do a few AI missions to get a bit more used to the game.

Then join the help channel and ask in the there the same question you've just asked, you will get a good response and maybe some freebies

(If it's still similar to what it was a few years ago, I guess even better)
