what kit ?

did you use filters to get the sky like that ? or is it pp
 
shame about the shadow in the first one

should have used a nd grad filter in 6 then the sky would not have over exposed.

some good ones
 
personally, those huge wide angles make these photos really interesting. And the way youve edited them compliments them nicely.
 
great variety of shots..

good composition, exposure and lighting..

especially like the beach one where you can see the water so clearly and the one taken from inside the cave - tbh i really liked them all ...

Processing - just editing in RAW now, so adjustements of exposure, enhancement of black. Then an adjustment layer to bring out the skies a little. Would normally use an ND and/or a circ-polar, although cp's do not work very well on a wide angle lens as you get waves across the top. Thats it.

Ah ... I just realised why you cannot see the EXIF.

These are not the actual ones uploaded to FlickR. I always upload the originals, and then these are the 'large' sized ones which are a scaled down version, which is what you are seeing. If you go to my flickr link, you can see the EXIF on the originals. That was bugging me momentarily, that may be why you cannot see on others too. :)
 
Great set of photos, #1 is my favorite I think. The one looking up the tower/crane I think needs rotating or wasn't taken dead central perahs? It doesn't quite look right to me though

Any chance you could post an example of this? I was looking at getting a filter for my 10-22mm but couldn't decide between a CPL or ND grads, and it's not something I've heard of happening before. Thanks :D
 
Number two i just dont like and i cant say why, just dont like it...

Number seven is by far the best for me, although number 4 i have on my bedroom wall in B&W, same pier, same shot, lol how odd is that!

Number one might be helped with a little more blue in the water?

The one with the bench in the front is good, nice posistioning of the view.

They are all good, apart from number 2 lol... keep looking at it and keep thinking yuck.

But good effrot :)

I no longer own a cp for the 10-20. basically what happens is due to the way the lens warps everything to get that nice big angle. So you land up almost with a wavy vignette effect going on in the top corners. It does not look that great. I would avoid, although others may have had more pleasure.
