well, i'm new here, but not new to games, computers.

i've been gaming since my dad bought me grandstand's astro wars.
then a c16, speccy +2, c64, snes, n64, xbox..then to a pc!

i'm here to learn more before i upgrade my current 1st time rig, but i will try and float around google to answer most of my questions, but hopefully i can drop by here to ask for help when my fuse is blown!!

I think you will find the answer to your every question here, generally everyone is very caring and helpful and the moderation is second to none.

Your experience here soon becomes much more personal than in most forums, you will recognise familliar names, joke with the OCUK employees and possibly even have your thread commented on by the founder of OCUK himself.

Why rely on Google when you can call upon a wealth of experience and opinions to answer your specific question?

i am settling in quite well actually. there was another forum i signed up with, but it seemed to vast and unwieldy for me. this forum is definitely warmer and friendlier:)

i already have trusty and mei giving me adivice about my 1st upgrade.

i have just been relying on google as a means to 'arm' myself with as much info as possible. some people get slightly tired by newcomers asking for answers that are readily available around the web :(
