Ever been stung.....

When i was a kid i found a wasps nest and thought it would be fun to poke it with sticks. When a swarm came out i have never moved so quick in my life. Unfortunately my little brother was not as quick and they got him. He had stings all over his body.

That's what little brothers are for. A decoy so you can make good your escape.

Only stung twice in my 22 years. Once i stood on a bee and it got me good. The other was a hornet which was like a sucker punch in the face, very painful!

Stung twice in 26 years, both when I was a kid and both on the neck. Sure it hurt a lot more as a child than it would now

Never been stung, although once got hit by a bee whilst riding a motorbike at ~75mph. Idiotically i wasn't wearing a jacket*. It really, really hurt. Got me right on the shoulder. No sting, just impact.

*I'm the first person to shout at people riding bikes without safety clothing, usually.

Some of you guys seriously need to embrace your fears of insects Batman style.

We have about 50 potential "Waspmen" in here. Man up. Fight crime.

Been stung a few times by Wasps.... I just one inch punched them, they vaporised on contact... Man up fags.

edit ( i knelt on a wasp... lol small world [then i punched it])

Got stung by a hornet whilst playing pushball in Abu Dhabi. That hurt a lot.

Haven't been stung in years, and when approached by a bee/wasp I stay calm and just let it go on with its business. I believe flapping around wildly will just agitate it and give it reason to get you.

I know it's not a bee or wasp, however on one drunken night when I was a teen in the days of drinking cider on a friday night, I was walking through our local Castle grounds, on the way home, and decided to take a wee in a nearby bush, anyhow it turned out that it was full of stinging nettles, as it was dark I failed to see them.

Anyway cut a long story short, I whipped out the bad boy straight on to a pile of stinging nettles, if you think getting stung on the arm or foot is painful, you should try getting stung on the top of the old soldier :(:(:(

Been stung more times than I can count usually due to someone else ****ing off the thing that stung me.

I can't stand it when losers freak out about bees or wasps or whatever. 99 times out of 100 if you leave them be they will go away, or you can just usher them out of the room or do the glass and a bit of card trick and put them out of the back door.

I'm making a point of showing my kids as many bugs and creepy crawlies as I can, so they don't freak out about them. My 5 year old has held spiders that I've found, so I'm hoping she's on her way to not being a complete nancy about bugs.

I was riding my MTB down a hill on the way to meet up with friends, and I got hit in the face by a bee.

It managed to sting my bottom lip as it made contact and I was left with a very swollen lip for the rest of the ride :p

I've also tried to squash a wasp with my bare feet while standing on grass. Great success.

One two occasions

When I was about 5, there was a massive bee in the car, I opened the window and tried to high-five him out, he stung me and went out :D

The second time was on my GCSE results day, a wasp flew up the arm of my t shirt, then as I tried to take it off, it stung me 3 or 4 times on my back :/
