ever slepped on your arm ???

I do this practically every night, i actually can't find where it is so ihave to grab my shoulder and work my way down to the hand and pull it out straight. Quite often i sit up and my numb hand i bent completley backward so the middle finger is touching the the top of my forearm! It aches a bit when i do that.

I sleep on my arm every now and again, have to roll over and move it with my arm. Trying not to break anything.

"The stranger" would not work because the whole arm is dead. You would have to get your other arm to move your other arm, which would move your other "arm". Am I going too far with this?

When I get pins n needles that bad, I have this bizarre urge to slap myself in the face with my numb hand. Please, someone tell me I'm not the only one :D

I usually sleep on my stomach, so my arm usually wakes up dead, sometimes where I can't even move it.

Skid... you're not the only one, it's fun when it's (the arm!) all floppy.

I've fell aslweep with my arms crossed before and when I woke up, both of my arms were dead as! It's quite suprising how heavy your arms are, and it's quite wierd, and you get a little bit of a fright!

Ive woken up having, I presume, been looking to the right all night as I couldnt move my eyes back to the middle. It was very painful :/

This hasn't directly happened. Closest I get is the fact that I have a rather low blood pressure. If I try and sit up quickly or jump out of bed, go all dizzy and need to hold onto something or I collapse >_>

look up saturday night palsy. its when people get drunk or stoned and lay on parts of their anatomy (usually arms) for hours damaging them in a very permanent way.

Aye, this is what Dave Mustaine from Megadeth got from falling into a drunken stupor with his arm hanging over the edge of an armrest.

Put him out of playing guitar for a long time.

I've had it bad once before, I managed to fall asleep with my arm up a wall, woke up and could not feel anything whatsover in my arm. Panic'd and started flailing my arm about - trying to get some feeling back. Only succeeded in hitting myself in the face (no joke) which really hurt.

Feeling did come back in about half hour.

I do think it can be nerves or crap circulation. As it happened as above - no pressure was on the arm - it was just vertical.

However, I do also get pins and needles in my legs after a lengthy bog session, and surely that cant be lack of circulation as my legs are the lowest parts of my body?

Also done this,

Not in a long time though, as a kid it worried the hell outta me lol.

Waking up with a floppy arm. And yep it does feel really heavy when its like that lol.

Normally wake up now if sleeping on my front and i feel it going dead.

Best one would be to make it dead then roll over an slappin the other halfs butt, now that would be funny.

Other is weird, she can sleep with her legs in the air, or her knees up. Bloody weird.

Yeah this is quite a weird experience! The strangest thing I find is how cold the sleepy limb is, last time this happened to me I was still laying on my side and touched my face with my arm and it was stone cold :o

Yep, i love it! lol

Woke up once, on my front, with my arms under me corssed over, left hand on right shoulder & vice versa, i proceeded to nudge my girlfriend, with my head, whilst saying "oh my god, my arms aren't working" (About 5:30am half asleep!) i proceeded to rock my body left and right till i rolled onto a side then started laughing manically :D

Scary coincidence, I did that this morning. The reason I realised was because I couldn't lift my arm up to look at my watch...
