Grass is always greener..

I've just had a few issues of me wondering if I should end it. At the point that we were over I realised I really didn't want it to be, so we're still together and its like a new beginning for me.

Is it just me or is EVERYONE breaking up at the minute? At least 7 of my friends who were in long term relationships have broken up over the past month and I've heard of loads more.

It's weird.

Yeah everyone's breaking up that I know, happily I managed to start the trend with my friends about a year ago. It is odd though.

Christmas is coming up. Its convenient not to be with anyone at this time.

Also depending on their age, some are heading off to uni. Temptations flying all over the place there! Always ends in heartache.

It's almost Christmas, people don't want to have to buy their girlfriends presents.

relationships take work, sometimes a lot of work. are you saying at the slightest need of work you just think 'ah **** it, im off'?

Quite a few times and i've always ended it soon after having doubts. Dont see the point in keeping things going if I have doubts about a relationship. Better to cause the hurt and pain now rather than further down the line when you are more involved / commited etc.

Lately I'm wondering what is going on with my relationship. It has been nearly a year and things are starting to look dodgy recently. I don't know what is around the corner.. or do I.

Its been over a year since I was last in a serious relationship... and sometimes I wonder whether I was with the right girl... then I remember the problems she caused, and how unhappy I was and I realise that it was the right choice.

To be fair, as soon as things get to be too much trouble and its hurting to be with them, then its time to have a serious thought about what you're doing. Of course its much easier said than done, theres been 2 occasions where its hurt me an incredible amount to say enough is enough, but after it was done I started to feel better and a view from the outside made me see how bad things really were.
