Hmmm, sounds interesting, and free to make a new char? I might do that, gonna check on the clan I am in atm see if they still remember me lol.

Got another 1 hour 16 of downloading to do, takes forever.

Standard account can have 7 character slots on US servers, 7 on EU servers and 7 on Test. Station Access which is the higher priced one allowing you to play all SoE games allows more but I don't know how many.

Yep, there's a lot of new data you need.

If you have installed the game from scratch you're in for a 8GB download! If you used a CD/DVD then you're probably looking at 5GB. It might take a while

Personally I'd recommend starting a new character on the Nagafen PvP server. Getting up to level 25 shouldn't take very long at all. It's so much better to be able to kill players too

Some people wouldn't agree of course!

Don't play on a PvP server like Nagafen then.

Only way is do download it then. It never goes very fast either, as you are finding out! Even if you know someone with it on CD you would still be in for quite a large download, as I said above.

Last time I formatted I just left it downloading overnight

I wont EVER be deleting this from my drive, if I need to format my software drive then this will go on DVD lol.

I play on Runneyeye along with a load of other UK players. I bought the ROK expansion and can't stop playing it. There should be a health warning about its addiction. I never got into WOW in the same way.

It is really deep, I still learn something everyday. I palyed for 14 hours solid on Saturday (I know it sounds sad).

I have joined a raid alliance with everyone using teamspeak and it really does open a new dimension.

When I get my healer to 80 I'm thinking of starting a dirge which are supposed to be fun.

I started playing Nov 2004 . When i stopped playing for a couple of years and came back when they released EoF (echoes of faydark) I couldnt believe how muchit had changed. My acount was still there after the long inactivity.

Runneye and splitpaw are the 2 unofficial UK servers. I started on splitpaw 4 yrs ago but swapped to runneyeye along with a load of uk'ers in the early days when we got the free switch. the server load is officially classed as medium . (same as splitpaw). There are a load of Uk;ers as this was where we all started off in the very early days. There are some great people on this server. I am on at least 4 days a week so give me a /tell and i'll pop over to give a hand

I still play EverQuest I here have been since 1999, I did play EverQuest II for about 3 weeks but coudnt get into it so went back to EverQuest I lol.

When I played EQ II I was running an ATI X1900XTX (had not been out long) & it struggled with framerates on anything medium settings or above, so a good graphics card is needed, I also had 2GB Ram.

Just for reference, EQ I takes up 1.5GB of memory.

Sounds interesting, allthough how do you choose that server I cant recall seeing that on the server selection? I might make a 3rd char because the server I am on with my new char I started yesterday is pretty quiet, too quet really.
