Every game crashes...

Hi,

Just got my new system up and running (see sig).

Ive got the latest nvidea driver and all windows updates. Ive so far tried GTA V, Witcher 3 and the new Batman. All crash either right away or after a couple of seconds. I even downloaded furmark and that crashed too after about 40 seconds.

Anyone else had this issue? GTX670 is about 1 year old.

Hi all,

So I ran memtest all day while at work. 9.5 hours it was running with no errors.

Ive also just updated the BIOS from 1.0 to 1.30 as recommended above. Launched the witcher 3 and it played it for a couple of mins without crashing!! It was crashing almost instantly before.

I guess there was an issue with the BIOS if there on 1.3 already. Ive never updated a mobo BIOS before so never even thought off that, I suppose its because a new architecture right?

Hopefully its fully fixed only a few more hours in game will tell me for sure.

Yeah its fine now! Also done a test in batmans benchmark at stock cpu Min 28 Average 47fps (at decent settings). Then again at 4.6ghz and got 37fps min 60 Average, so pretty pleased all round with that.

Ill see if it boots with the RAM sticks in 2 and 4 as the mobo suggests tomorrow.

Just in case someone reads this, after updating the BIOS from 1.0 to 1.3 games no longer crash and Ive also put the RAM sticks in 2&4 as suggest by MSI, It now boots fine and I ran Cinebench15 before at 729 CPU after (with RAM in correct slots) at 759. Obviously this is synthetic but still obviously is helpful.
