Yet again I order a Sammy 226bw monitor, it turns up yesterday, and what happens? They bloody reduce the price. This happend recently with my 8800gtx and some other bits. Do they sit and wait for my order then do it on purpose to rub it in!!???
There is only one thing I can do and thats never order anything again, no more pooty bits for me, 10 years of pooty buying down the plug hole, never again will I have to make excuses to the misses. Hang on, thats it, your in league with the devil her self arnt you? Right sod that, im still spending !! :D

maybe next time you are about to order something, give it a rest for a while and see what's going to happen to the price...

Send it back under the distance selling regulations, get a refund and buy at the cheaper price? :p

Though it'll cost you to send it back so I guess that's a waste of time really.

A certain other e-tailer refunds the difference if the price is reduced within 30 days.

Maybe OC should consider this. It has happened to me before when buying stuff.

If it bothers you that much, drop the shop a note. You never know!
That's a hint by the way...

Not their problem though is it to be fair. Ok, it goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service but in my opinion its tough luck. Generally you expect prices to come down over time.

Understandable over a longer period of time such as 30 days but I bought my gfx card on one day and the very next day it was reduced by a further £20. :(

The thing is that price could have been that price for the last 29 days and was due a price drop anyways and unfortunately you ordered a day before the drop.

I do feel sorry for you though, I remember when I bought a new pair of trainers for £60 and 2 days later its fallen to £35 :(

Yeah I see that point too, unlucky is my middle name :(

Same happened to my mate when he brought his 8800GTX next day they reduced it by £40.

Also when i brought a gamecube paid £160 for it next day they were reduced to £80, Competitor contacted me & offered me some goodies because of it :)

I bought an LCD TV a few years back just before Christmas... it was £1200 online (local shop didn't have stock!)... I went into the shop local to me just after Christmas and they had it in stock at £950... Problem was the 'Refund the Difference' policy they had was 28 days... and I'd gone in on the 29th!... they wouldn't budge!! :(

I'm afraid you deserve it. Using the term 'pooty' should be punishable by death, not just badly timed purchases.

I think having a forum name which reminds us of that travesty of a puppet is enough to warrant the death penalty :D ;)

When you brought a gamecube? Where did you bring it?

I was only really joking, I really don't care. I just rememeber it happening so many times, at the end of the day i think its only £5 or so this time.
As for pooty, whats wrong with pooty, my kids use it all the time, and after all I am just a big kid really :D
