lol, that was not on an FX57 was an FX60 mate,! my rig has had serious changes to that SIG needs updating big time!

heheh have you all just realised. winter is the best, it was worth an extra 100mhz on the cpu benching.

how do you think i got almost 2950 mhz and 24s pi out of my old dothan on air :D

If you take apart the minifridge, you'll probably find a low powered TEC/peltier inside... probably not powerful enough to cool a modern CPU though.

Wouldnt i be cheaper to just buy a peltier instead, which would do the job :)

Definitely... but you've also got the issue as to whether it's worth the hassle of bothering with TECs at all.
 
i live in jarrow (next to newcastle) and the weather up here has been utterly rubbish recently, its been cool, damp and generally not very nice, i got 4*C from my brother in laws car sensor which is under his front bumper, no such thing as summer in tyneside, lol
