Hmm. What made me think EVGA was a head company?

No wonder they seem to be such Nvidia loyalists: probably have an inside track.
It holds the records, dethroned the HOF. The board itself is top notch, plenty of users/vids/reviews say so. Would be a great buy if it didn't have super high price tag.
Lesser of two evils in my opinion. So many issues with the 3090.
So after dragging my heels a little on this (really didn't want to be without a card without sourcing some kind of temp measure in the meanwhile) I have just started the RMA process and I have to say I'm not a fan of the process so far. A cookie cutter automated response telling me I should go back to my retailer for a refund or replacement (if I could have done that I would!) failing that if you want a repair then I'm told that I have to pay for the shipping both to GigaByte and back from them or go through the hassle of organising a courier service... like WTF? Is this the usual deal with them? In all my experiences with other RMAs I have only ever had to pay to ship the item to the manufacturer for repair, never have I had to pay for them to ship it back to me. I've barely started the process and I'm seriously put off from ever buying a GigaByte product ever again.
Sorry for this being more of a rant than anything, but I'm really not impressed with this and it has soured my mood somewhat.
Auto correct. Suppose to say German...As in Dick?
