EVGA have done nothing apart from sticking to the warranty and don't fall for the PR stunts they pulled saying they will replace any faulty cards due to the game breaking them, the game didn't break them but EGVAs FTW3 cards have a design fault, if they wanted to be the nice guys they would have recalled all cards with the issue and replaced them for all customers with the cards that have the design fault with new designed ones without this fault and the other faults these cards have like load balancing on the power connectors and slot. They have not even admitted it is their fault at any point or they have cards with a fault.
They have done nothing but replace some cards 4 times for some people with the same fault and cost some $200/EURO in costs each RMA to send it back to them and some have spent over $800 to $1000 in postage for RMA so far ($1000 in a few months of owning the card and can you imagine the ones with 3080s FTW3 with this fault ?, their RMAs have cost more than the card now). Seriously no one should be giving them any form of credit and any company that behaves this way with a faulty item they sell. This says a lot about them and will be avoided for good now, wait till the ones that have the issue when the warranty runs out what they will say, sorry no warranty but you can pay us to fix it or sorry we can't do anything now and wash their hands of it.
If this happened to any of us on here the forums would be in a riot as they are on EVGAs forums for many months with people with this issue, but they are silient about even replying to people on their own forums and making the fanboys reply well RMA it, forgetting it's costing silly money to send it back to them as they don't pay for the postage and insurance. Geeze really credit.. They deserve a kick in the rear and a class action lawsuit to get peoples money back on the RMAs or offer to pay people back the postage and insurance with every card that has these faults.
