EVGA 3080

I have always loved the EVGA FTW cards and had a pre order in last for a 2080ti. But the information EVGA kept supplying on expected delivery dates was appalling and the final straw was their twitter feed updating every few days that another few hundred had shipped to the US and zero to the UK.

The FTW AIB card is one of the only custom AIB I would consider buying normally. That and the Zotac AMP but they arent likely to be available at launch date either, just the more normal ones.
Disappointing :/

Still no updates on other EVGA SKU's on the OCUK site, I was hoping there would be more details of other cards dropping at launch by now for next week from what Gibbo said on extra details coming through this week.... I'm wondering if I walk away from EVGA a little because of the general lack of UK attention from them..... It's the same for all uk vendors, in the USA though theres a few ftw3's already showing up.

EVGA RMA centre in Germany now I have been reading?

One guy said they reimburse shipping?

Or will ocuk help out?

Still likely to go with them.

i wanted to send a PSU back, i was quoted about £40 to send it back, i didnt see any mention of shipping reimbursement. I just binned it and bought a new one.

It's rather telling when not only did EVGA bin off their UK RMA centre the other year it turns out, but their UK twitter account hasn't posted anything since Nov 2019. They've really given the middle finger to us Brits... :o

Think I might just go FE if reviews and thermals are good, so torn... lol

Thats shocking. Almost a year without a post. Yeah, I saw the writing on the wall a couple of years ago with EVGA. They have basically totally left the UK market. I will stick with Zotac thanks.

This is entirely anecdotal of course, but from my reading Zotac cards never seem to be as strong at overclocking and the potential of the silicone on the majority of their cards (the bins never work out to be the higher end) or at least thats how it seems.

Still no FTW cards, which is ok with me as want cheapest AIB core I can get with decent warranty etc.

FTW likely to be at least £100 more with no guarantee of a higher clock? that pays for my waterblock!

Saw Jacob further confirming XC3 and XC3 ultra available 17th on twitter last night, apparently ftw3's could be out in as little as a week of tomorrow from what he was saying?

Anyone else holding out for a hybrid or hydrocopper card?

I was reading from Jacob's twitter feed "Oct/Nov" so i assume end of october time is expected launch

On Jayztwocents video of the XC3, he said he had contacted EVGA and they are apparently coming out with free replacement colours for the red 70's batmobile rear end / sad clown mouth

Stick on some googly eyes and you have...

I ordered a FTW in the end from elsewhere who have a live 3000 update page.

Crossing my fingers for the EVGA delivery 7-9th October and a relatively ok (I have no idea) pre-order queue position.

Off work next week and would love to get it then!

I’ve got a EVGA FTW3 Ultra 2080Ti and it’s been amazing. Had a pair of GTX680 from EVGA in the past and were also rock solid.

If I was in the market for a card I’d consider the EVGA as I’d be putting it under water anyway, although I am disappointed they have stiffed the UK and went with the red accent.

I originally went with them as they honoured a warranty when removing the stock coolers when a lot of manufacturers didn’t. These days there’s more choice and I tend to look at water blocks before I look at cards :p

Yeah I'm in the same position, it got delayed again from the 27th.. I pre ordered pretty early on the 17th so hopefully I'm in the first batch..

Judging from their public channels this isn't the case, just OCUK aren't securing EVGA stock through their distributor(s). See Reddit and Twitter for EVGA's stance on it.
