Ok guys now i have my new cooler on my Gpu, i thought id start overclocking it. So ive been starting slowly with small increments and running Vantage. Just done a few clocks so far without probs, before i carry on, was just wondering a few things.

At what point do I need to up the power target from 100% (it goes to 122)
Also, at what point do I need to change the voltage from stock voltage. So far as ive only just started ive reached 24385 gpu score on vantage. I have a long way to go, but just wanted to know if im doing this correctly, or if i should be upping those other things.

Temperature isnt an issue, hasnt hit 50 yet.

Also what settings should i be using when running vantage, because im just loading vantage up and picking Gpu test 1 and 2 and starting it on high. Should i be on extreme?

If you 670 is like the 660's, then most seem to top out around the 1200mhz mark, even after unlocking the bios. A few get closer to 1300mhz, but it's not guaranteed as you'd imagine.

The thing to remember is that afaik you won't get a constant speed. It will always fluctuate slightly depending on the gpu workload & temps.

My PNY 660 can boost to [email protected], but it does it very rarely. It usually sits around [email protected].

This is with Power Target at 110%, Gpu Offset at +143mhz, and Mem Offset at 330mhz using Precision X.

My gigabyte winforce oc GTX 670s top out at +167 +675. Still not temp limited at that stage with max load temps of 60. The voltage has a locked max though. Superb cards. Perform better than many overclocked 680 and 7970s.

If you put the power slider to max the card will boost higher. My 670 FTW cards both boost to 1205 with just the power slider at max. I have not done anything else as I have no need.

-Put the power target to max
-You can't control the voltage
