What's the consensus on this PSU . Johnny Guru's site and a few others have pretty good reviews on this wattage unit, the OEM being FSP. Got a good price on the unit , was tempted to go for a 750w superflower titaniun unit on offer here , but the 550w version was in the price range I needed to be at and didn't offer enough overhead and an upgrade from current PSU .

I wouldn't go for a Superflower purely because they have stuck with only offering a 5 year warranty. While most of their units are good they are being left behind when it comes to warranties. Their competitors are offering 7, 10 and even 12 year warranties so it's about time that they matched them. The new EVGA G1+ has been getting very good reviews and with a 10 year warranty you can't really go wrong with it. The braiding on the cables could be much better but at least the wires are black so it doesn't look cheap.
