You can't use any old cable for a psu. You need cables for that specific psu as pinouts vary massively and the wrong cable for the wrong psu can and often will fry components of a pc. Always keep the boxes and spare parts for components somewhere safe.
Thanks for your reply. I’m aware of what pcie cable I need for my PSU ( Evga part number W001-00-000147) but I can’t seem to find them. I wasn’t planning on sticking a random cable in my Psu even though it sounds fun

If you're not sure you could do a continuity test and compare them with your existing cable.
If you don't have the ability to assess/test the cables yourself it is hard to say really, from what I've seen of these type of sellers they're mostly Chinese/Hong Kong sellers offering you generic cables with a specific pinout. It might be fine, but if they make an error (which e.g. could be during shipping, the pinout, or knowing which OEM your PSU was manufactured by), it might not.

If you have no luck with EVGA you could make some but you will need one of the original cables to copy. The connectors are widely available and 16AWG wire is easy to get hold of but you will need a proper crimper which will be less than £30. I made my own for my 2021 Corsair RM850X as the originals were extremely stiff so I made some out of red and black 16AWG silicon cable. Works a treat and looks good too plus it's pretty easy to do.
