Yeah looks odd that as Stalker is Dx9.
Patch for DX10 no ? (didnt like the Game myself, reminds me of Oblivion lol).

Not that i know off, im sure its only Dx9, the next one Clear Sky will be Dx10.

Jesus 2600 XT crossfire obliterates the 8800 Ultra, gets 649fps in Stalker at 1280x1024, and the Ultra can only manage a measly 248!!! 
You think I will see its smoother on my CRT 22" at 649FPS than 248FPS ?

Thats phenomenal that, i bet 2x Ultra's in SLi wouldn't even break 300fps, jesus ive got to get me sell 2x of those 2600's, bloody bargain at £61 each.
SLI does not scale as well, and them FPS are no good to man or dog, and who want to game at that RES with high end cards anyhow.

Woah, no need to get defensive. Everyone knows those cards don't perform like that outside of isolated situations and such. Of course it was a joke.

To be honest, the 256MB 8800 GT cards perform pretty well on the whole considering their price, only a couple of places are they significantly behind the competition.

Dont know, but does not every review get slated by someone or other.
Do what I do, read at least 1 dozen then make your own decisions, but since I will never own a 8800GT 256MB I will never know the facts.
