Its only the watercooled one that's got any sort of real reduction but then it was due it any way as you can buy a 780+water block for cheaper now.

Is the classified worth the £50 over the ftw? Other than the dual BIOS and slight higher clocks does it have any thing else?

I've yet to finish building my PC so not checked the 290x to see if there is any issues like some of the people have reported in the 290x owners thread, if I do want to RMA under the dsr/14 day satisfaction is it 14 working days or does it include weekends as well(I know the normal DSR is 7 working days, I'm not sure about your extended period)? And is day it was delivered or day after(I got it in hand last Friday).

Then if I do decide to return need to decide which 780 to go for and the 780ti will be too much, from what I've read evga cover stock cooler removel in their warranty.

we changed our warranty system and actually cards do come with the KR warranty. This do mean the card do have out of the box three years of warranty and if you want to you can purchase up to 5 or 10 years optional. You can find more information about this at eu.evga.com/warranty
